Chief Officers Network  

This network was brought together by funding received from the ChangeUp programme and delivered through West of England Consortium member organisations. ChangeUp is a government initiative, managed by Capacitybuilders, to strengthen the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors by encouraging and enabling the delivery of effective infrastructure services.

We only had funding to offer these networks to organisations which deliver services within B&NES but funding for organising and facilitating the Chief Officers’ Network came to an end on 31 March

Chief Officers Network: The future: new venue, new arrangements

Existing Network members felt strongly that the meetings are worthwhile and should continue. Clydesdale Bank have offered free use of their conference room for future meetings and Network members will convene and chair the meetings on a rotational basis.

The Next Meeting will be Thursday 23 September 9.30-12.30 Sonia Hutchinson from The Carers Centre has kindly agreed to co-ordinate the meeting. The 2 agreed topics are consideration of the £400 funding available for the network and Commissioning of services by BANES Council as well as the usual opportunity to network.
The venue is: Clydesdale Bank, 3rd floor, Royal Mead, 4-5A Railway Place, Bath BA1 1SR. It is opposite Bath Spa Station and in the same building as Inland Revenue office.
