Institute of Fundraising Courses:
The ‘Introduction to
Fundraising’ courses in Bristol will run on the following dates in
2010

This one-day course has been developed by the Institute of
Fundraising as an introductory course for those who are new to
fundraising, considering fundraising as a career or for whom
fundraising is a small part of their role including volunteers,
trustees and service deliverers. The course is a cost effective way
of introducing staff, volunteers or trustees to fundraising so that
they can learn more about the theory, processes, legal and ethical

Cascade Training:
A Practical Approach to Fundraising: maximise your success and
explore new income streams - Tuesday 14th September (Taunton). With:

'This course delivers essential knowledge and skills for those new
to fundraising, but will also appeal to more experienced fundraisers
who are looking for fresh ideas and to managers and trustees who
have an overall responsibility for maximising income - and need a
good understanding of fundraising.
As well as learning about the basic principles of fundraising,
participants will gain a greater understanding of the different
sources of funding available and knowledge of how to best ‘tap’
them. Those who book onto the course will receive a pre-course
questionnaire asking them which areas of fundraising they would like
to explore in more depth.'
