This is an exciting opportunity to help develop the work of a fast growing Community based Art, Dance, Drama and Music Therapies Project working in Bath & North East Somerset.

CAT Project: Community Arts Therapies is a creative and friendly small Charitable Company founded in 2003. We are made up of a dedicated team of Art, Drama, Dance and Music Psychotherapists, Mental Health Service Users, Carers and Mental Health Professionals.

We are looking for a Project Manager to work alongside the Trustee’s and Project Steering Groups to manage current projects; to develop future opportunities and partnerships and to build ongoing sustainability into the Project.

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity? Are you highly motivated, confident, committed to community development, and have some knowledge of grant processes and experience of the voluntary sector? If so, this could be the job for you!

Following the retirement of the current Manager we are looking for a person who will as their primary role manage Landfill Community Fund grants within Wiltshire. The grants support capital projects which benefit the community. In addition to the characteristics above we require at least three years’ successful management experience, a good standard of financial literacy and excellent inter personal skills.

The post is half time with flexible working arrangements by agreement

Assistant Chief Executive (Finance)

Salary and benefits package circa £40,000 per annum pro rata

Community First is looking to appoint a highly experienced and dynamic finance professional to work with the Chief Executive and Board to lead further change and growth of this charitable business. The Assistant Chief Executive (Finance) is a key post within the organisation and forms part of the Executive Team and is also the Company Secretary.

The ideal candidate will be able to bring both a commercial mind to the position and have the ability to bring strategic financial management to multiple areas of work, with a working knowledge of charitable finance preferred.

The successful candidate will be employed on an annual contracted hours basis allowing for flexible working arrangements by agreement. Benefits package includes 25 days’ paid holiday pro rata, final salary pension scheme, flexible working conditions, mileage allowance, training opportunities and free parking.

This vacancy provides the post holder to develop a successful fundraising strategy and team throughout the county, but also requires the applicant to be experienced in, and evidence a track record of successful grant funding applications and bids. The post holder must have a genuine interest in the work of SWAN Advocacy and empathy with the clients we support

A 6% pension contribution is payable after satisfactory completion of probation period
