Statutory training providers have entered individual agreements to offer a certain number of places on their training courses to VCS groups in the Bath and North East Somerset area. In accessing courses from these Statutory providers there is a distinct protocol which must be followed and which can be found by following the individual links below.

B&NES Early Years Training - Courses are available to VCS groups where there are places available. Priority will be given to groups working with children. Some courses such as First Aid are likely to be very oversubscribed. Please use the booking form at the end of the course programme.

BANES PCT and B&NES Social Services are committed to supporting the training needs of the independent and voluntary sector and recognise that funding maybe scarce. Consequently they will no longer be charging for attendance on any of their courses. The only charge made will be to recoup the cost incurred for candidates who undertake their NVQ with their Assessment Centre, details on page 68 of the programme.
