What is the Local Strategic Partnership?

The Local Strategic Partnership sets the overall strategy for Bath and North East Somerset and holds the LSP Public Services Group to account for delivering this overall strategy.

The Local Strategic Partnership is a voluntary “partnership of partnerships” through which:

bullet  there is a shared focus on strategic goals, based on evidenced local needs
bullet  accountability to groups and organisations is clear and trust developed
bullet  conflicting needs and priorities can be reconciled
bullet  decision making is efficient and timely
bullet  there is a clear flow from strategy to delivery across partners
bullet  organisations and people can get involved in the most effective way

The LSP's vision for the area is to be distinctive, inclusive, creative, safe and sustainable. We aim to do this by working together to tackle crime, improve the environment, and take pride in our communities.

The LSP is made up of:

bullet LSP Public Services Group (7 representatives)
bullet VCS Steering Group (6 representatives)
bullet LSP Business Group (1 representative)
bullet LSP Communities Group (7 representatives)
