In Bath & North East Somerset

Volunteering is promoted and facilitated through the services of The Volunteer Centre Bath & North East Somerset.

 

This independent charity provides free services to both volunteers and organisations across the local area of: Bath, Keynsham, Midsomer Norton, Radstock and the North East Somerset villages, including Chew Magna, Pensford and Saltford. They also run a Volunteer Managers Network for anyone who has responsibility for recruiting and supporting volunteers.

  • Bath Spa University: Just V - Bath Spa University’s volunteer programme offers a huge reservoir of potential volunteers, some 6,500 students. All Just V's services are FREE to organisations. For more information see: www.bathspasu.co.uk/justv

  • Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme - RSVP was formed in 1988 to encourage older people (over 50 years of age) to make a difference in their communities.  The main areas where volunteers are involved are schools, primary care, gardening and the environment, knitting, as well as many other one-off projects.
