What We Do
DEVELOP offers a range of services to voluntary organisations and
community groups to support the development of their organisations,
help them deliver their services more effectively and ensure their
long term viability and sustainability.
We run a number of Networks aimed at providing targeted support in
aspects of organisational management and several Projects to support
the local Voluntary and Community Sector

Our Services
These range from the provision of fact sheets
and other resources to funding advice surgeries, training and the
facilitation of networks. We have listed our services below under

Group Support

Accountancy Support - up to 30 mins
consultation for queries around accountancy matters,
governance issues, VAT or other taxation matters available
to groups operating in B&NES |

Funding Advice - information and
advice on applying for funding, funding surgeries |

Legal Advice
- a free legal advice service is
offered to groups operating in B&NES in collaboration with
Stone King Sewell Solicitors.
Groups with a charity law query can forward it to DEVELOP by email.
All queries received will then be sent on to Stone King Sewell for reply around
the beginning of each month.

Information Packs including: Faiths Groups, Funding,
LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender) and Social
Enterprise |

E-bulletins - these are produced
weekly covering national and regional news and events with
links to Local News Bulletins for North Wiltshire, East
Wiltshire and B&NES.
